Description:
The Cochrane Library is a collection of databases that contain high-quality, independent evidence to inform healthcare decision-making.
In addition to Cochrane reviews, The Cochrane Library provides other sources of reliable information, from other systematic review abstracts, technology assessments, economic evaluations, and individual clinical trials - all the current evidence in one single environment.
During our session, we will take you through:
- The aims and goals of the Cochrane Collaboration.
- How to browse and search systematic reviews and protocols.
- Why systematic reviews are an increasingly important source of evidence on the effects of healthcare.
Agenda:
- New features / functionality added to The Cochrane Library.
- Browsing and searching through systematic reviews and protocols.
- Q & A period to ask questions based on your experience with using our database.
- Hands on practice.
The training session will last approximately 2-3 hours.
